4 Days 3 Nights Cebu City Itinerary

4 Days 3 Nights Cebu City Itinerary

Spent a weekend at Cebu City with friends! We took a Friday day off from our work to maximize our trip — to tour around the city and get to experience Oslob’s whale watching, island hopping in Moalboal, and Canyoneering.

We would never forget this trip because it’s our first barkada travel outside Davao City! When we had my birthday celebration dinner, we were talking about going to Cebu and how fun it is to travel there. When my friend checked for flights, there was a one-way promo from Cebu Pacific, so we immediately booked our flights without finalizing our itinerary. Lol.

Good thing one of my friends already went to Cebu so she knew who to contact for van rental, where to go, and how much we’d approximately spend.

I want to share to you our Cebu City Itinerary so if ever you’re wanting to travel to Cebu, you already have a guide. You’re welcome!

A video summary of our trip! Watch the vlog at the end of the blog!

Day 1 – Friday

We flew from Francisco Bangoy International Airport (Davao) to Mactan Cebu International Airport at 6:50 AM – 8:00 AM via Cebu Pacific because our flight was a promo/discounted. We spent around 4,300 PHP for 4 persons one way only.

We waited a few minutes for our van to arrive. We already coordinated with the driver in advance on what time should he pick us up, where we want to go, and how much we’ll pay all in all. I suggest you do the same.

Fourth stop: Fort San Pedro. This wasn’t part of our itinerary but our van driver enjoyed watching us having us, he suggested to visit this place because a lot of history is Cebu area happened here.

Fifth stop: Magellan’s Cross & Heritage of Cebu Monument. This is the most famous tourist stop in Cebu City, so expect that there’s gonna be a lot of people inside the monument.

After one whole day of touring around Cebu City, we feel icky from sweat. We wanted to rest and freshen up, so we went to SM City Seaside to refreshen up, get a massage, and drink milktea!

After resting, we headed to Oslob, the southern part of Cebu for tomorrow’s whale watching. Good thing we rented the van for the whole day because it’s much more convenient than riding a bus to Oslob for 4 hours. We were able to rest, sleep, and eat snacks.

After dinner and when we got to our Airbnb in Oslob, we washed up and slept early because we were SUPER TIRED from Day 1 and we’re gonna be early for tomorrow.

Day 2 – Saturday

We only had two itineraries today — whale watching & canyoneering! Woke up 4am to prepare and drink coffee before our tour guide arrives in our Airbnb. He took to the station, bought our tickets, and assisted us to our boats.

We didn’t quite enjoy the whale watching for us girls because we had a hard time taking underwater photos. We don’t know how to use the snorkel properly. Lol, we kept on swallowing salt water. But the boys did enjoy. They’re so awesome swimming down and taking photos. They only got good shots.

After our late breakfast and washing up in our Airbnb, we headed to Moalboal, 2-3 hours away from Oslob for our Canyoneering & Kawasan Falls. We rented a different van.

The Canyoneering took the whole day. A lot a whole day if you want to experience Canyoneering — hiking, 30 ft. cliff jumping, slide, Tarzan, falls, mapaakan ug lamok, maumod, mapasmo.

After the whole day Canyoneering and Whale Watching and travelling, we were K.O. after.

Day 3 – Sunday

Woke up again so early for our Island Hopping — Pescador Island, Turtle Point, and Sardine Run.

We didn’t do much activities on the third day. After Island Hopping and washing up again, we headed back to Cebu City — another 4 hours ride.

When we got back to Cebu City, we checked in to a new Airbnb in Avida Towers in Cebu IT Park. WE LOVED THE AIRBNB. There’s a free flat tops chocolate! Lol, it’s the little accommodating things that makes a customer satisfied.

After resting, we glammed up for our girl’s night out! We went to The Pyramid for some pasta and cocktails, headed to La Vie Parisienne for a bottle of sweet wine, and went to Liv3 for a night out. Well, the night didn’t end up well for us because we got tipsy and it only gave us a headache, figuratively and literally.

Day 4 – Back to Davao City

Early flight again back to Davao City because we all have work to catch up. We really enjoyed our Cebu trip because it’s the first barkada trip. All those corny jokes, new experiences, laughs, and new memories!
